They say love is one of the most precious, most valuable things on Earth; that it's once in a lifetime thing and for most people I'm sure it is, for most people it's something to live for, something to look forward too but what people don't talk about are the negative effects of love. The amount of control that person has over you when you tell them how much you love them. Love brings people to a point beyond return and when it all comes crashing down, they blame themselves.' On a balcony a young girl has anger in her eyes as it begins to rain narrating, 'a broken heart is the worst, the pain is unbearable which no one can see.. it's like once you have been hurt or broken you are afraid of getting attached again, a fear which makes you believe that everyone will break your heart, I knew he was bad and would break my heart eventually.' Daphne asks firmly, "how could you do this to me, Liam? Are you purposely ignoring me? I asked you why did you do this to me? especially with her!." Liam is in his towel replying, "I haven't done anything, preciosa, you have got to believe me." Daphne says angrily, "yeah, you didn't do anything, I saw it all, Liam!!." Liam asks, "well then, how do I expect me to prove to you that I didn't do anything?." Daphne replies coldly, "you do not need to prove anything to me because I am breaking up with you!." Liam says, "don't do this, butterfly." Daphne says, "it's too late! We are done and over! Don't you dare come after me!!."
Daphne runs out as Liam sighs; outside the rain pour heavily as Daphne is getting drenched wondering, 'I should have thought about this more carefully, mom and dad never forced me into this.. they gave me a choice and I decided.' Daphne soon begins to shiver as she feels a sharp pain in her head and then her stomach as she soon collapses. Our story begins one month ago in NYC; Daphne is sleeping just as her phone rings loudly; she gets up and answers yelling, "WHO IS THIS AND WHY THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING ME SO EARLY??!!." Calvin replies, "that's not a pleasant way to respond to your boyfriend." Daphne thinks, 'Calvin....' Daphne takes a deep breath saying, "hey, Calvin. Why are you calling me this early in the morning?." Calvin says, "early? babe it's 2PM in the afternoon". Daphne was stunned and looked at her phone wondering, "damn! I'm going to be late." Daphne says, "Calvin, I need to go." Calvin says, "hold on, ba-." Daphne ends the call and heads downstairs where one of her brother is drinking at the bar; Daphne runs past him, and he spills his drink over his shirt. Kaiden yells annoyed, "DAPHNE!!." Daphne replies, "yes, bro?." Kaiden says, "you're lucky that I love you, sis!." Daphne giggles seeing the stain as she says, "love you too, Kai." Meanwhile in the kitchen Austin is romancing with his wife Samantha asking, "how did I get such a gorgeous wife?." Samantha says, "you still look sexy, Austin, I'm surprised that most of our kids look like you." Austin says, "yeah but Lauren is a mix of you and me." Samantha says, "she sure is." Austin asks, "do you know how bad I want you over this counter, Sam?." Samantha replies nervously, "Austin, the kids...." Austin whispers, "they all are busy so it's just us here my love." Samantha winks playfully saying, "I want you, Austin." Austin pulls her closer replying, "as you wish, my love." They share a romantic kiss which soon begins to turn passionate just as Daphne come in coughing and thinks, 'oh god! I'm traumatised.' Austin and Samantha soon stop kissing as Austin says, "sorry about that baby girl." Samantha says, "Daphne, you do know that you have only eight minutes left till you have to collect Lauren from college." Daphne is eating her breakfast replying, "mom I want to finish this delicious strawberry-sprinkle donuts." Samantha says, "ok sweetie, just don't be late." Elsewhere across the town young man was waking up in his boxers as he looked at the girl sleeping beside him in her black lingerie; he soon came downstairs to the pool wondering, 'it feels so strange to be back in NYC, I miss my home in Mexico'. He checks his phone just as a voice comes behind him saying, "hey hottie!." He replies, "morning, bebita." She begins to kiss his neck as he soon turns around holding her close saying, "you're very sweet but I'm in control.' They share a passionate kiss just as someone screams, "LIAM RODRIGUEZ!!!."
Chapter 2
The young woman with blonde hair says, “who the fuck is this bitch?.” The girl beside Liam named Lisa says, “I wasn’t aware you had a girlfriend?.” Liam replies, “she’s not my girlfriend.” Kiara says boldly, “I’m his future wife!.” Liam looks shocked thinking, ‘pyscho bitch say what?!.’ Liam says, “just get out of here, Kiara and you too, I need to head somewhere.” Lisa asks, “do you want to go out together or hang later?.” Liam replies, “I’m sorry but I don’t do relationships, this was just sex and no strings attached. Now you can both leave.” Lisa nods and heads to get her clothes as Kiara scowls. Meanwhile Daphne was walking down the road as her phone beeped in which she saw an incoming message from Calvin who texted ‘hey babe.’ Daphne texts back ‘hey Calvin.’ Calvin asks, ‘are you coming round my place later?.’ Daphne replies, ‘I most likely won’t be able to since I’m busy today.’ Calvin texts. ‘ok but if you are coming babe just text me, ok.’ Daphne sends a smile emoji as Calvin texts, ‘I miss you babe.’ Daphne sends a heart emoji along with a message, ‘I miss you too, Calvin.’ Just as Daphne smiles while looking at her phone she soon bumps into someone as she says annoyed, “oi, watch where you are going!!.” Liam has his shade on as he looks at Daphne who gives him a cold glare. Liam says, “how about you watch where the fuck you’re standing!!.” Daphne says, “you have eyes so use them wisely, maybe you could have just walked past me like a regular human being unless you were trying to grab my attention.” Liam glares at Daphne who wonders, ‘there’s something really different about this guy, his arrogant and cocky attitude, damn he’s bad! he’s not even breaking eye contact with me even with his shades on! he’s a playboy.. a hot one but looked like bad news.’ Daphne sees Liam in his black tight jeans, white shirt, and leather jacket thinking, ‘he’s got the kind of looks that makes you go speechless or weak at the knees.’ Liam asks, “you done checking me out, butterfly?.” Daphne replies, “yep I finished staring at you and I know what sort of person you are... you’re a playboy, a helpless little playboy.” Liam’s eyes scowl as one of the guys behind Liam named Mario wonders, ‘damn, the sexual tension between the both of them....’ Mario says, “Liam, let’s just go.” Liam says, “fine, trust me butterfly you don’t wanna cross paths with me because I will be your worst nightmare.”
Daphne rolls her eyes boldly asking, “was that a threat to scare me, Mr playboy?.” Liam replies, “it was just a statement, butterfly.” Daphne says, “you do know that I’m not scared of you.” Liam says, “I would be if I were you.” Liam soon leaves with his group of men behind him as Daphne rolls her eyes and soon heads to the college. She looks around wondering, ‘where’s Lauren? Her college ended three minutes ago... wait what’s going on over there?.’ Daphne sees a crowd of students cheering as she comes over and sees Lauren fighting with another girl. Lauren threatens the girl who soon runs away crying as Daphne thinks, ‘Lauren Blake... my little sister and someone not to be messed with! Despite being expelled from various schools and colleges due to the fights and behaviour... it seems she is determined to get expelled again!.’ The crowd soon disperse as Lauren drinks some water before seeing Daphne saying, “hey sis!.” Daphne says, “hey, Lauren, another fight? What did that girl do to you?.” Lauren replies, “she was asking for it!.” Daphne says, “you do know that dad is going to kill you and he's going to mental for what you are wearing.” Lauren says, “chill sis, dad loves me because I’m his little warrior!.” They soon head home as Austin is waiting for Lauren in the living room; he says, “Lauren Blake!.” Lauren says, “hey daddy, I missed you!!.” Austin sees her outfit as he asks, “what in the devil are you wearing? this does not look like college uniform to me!.” Lauren replies, “it’s uniform daddy but with my style...” Austin says, “you are barely wearing anything, Lauren. I don’t want disgusting men to perve and look at my daughter in the dirtiest way, I hope you are staying away from boys too!.” Lauren says, “calm down daddy, I’m seventeen and I’m not a child anymore.” Austin had a sharp cold look on his face as Lauren thin

Liam soon comes home as he find Kiara on the doorstep as she winks playfully saying, “hey, Liam.” Liam rolls his eyes asking, “what do you want, Kiara?.” Kiara comes closer as she places her hand on his chest replying, “you seem tensed, Liam. Let me help you, I can make you feel better.” Liam corners Kiara to the wall saying, “bebita... don’t make a sound.” He kisses her passionately as Kiara says, “mmmm... I can always make you feel better, Liam.” As Liam kisses Kiara he sees a vision of Daphne saying, “you’re such a playboy.” Liam soon stops kissing Kiara and sees Daphne saying, “you!!.” Kiara asks, “Liam, are you ok?.” Liam turns thinking, ‘damn I can’t get that girl off my mind!.’ Elsewhere back at home Austin was dealing with some paperwork in the living room as Daphne was about to head out; Austin stops her asking, “where do you think you are going, Daphne?.” Daphne replies, “I’m going to see Calvin, I’m going to surprise my boyfriend.” Austin says, “that asshole! I don’t like him, Daphne, he’s not good for you.” Daphne asks, “dad are you serious? You’re just being overprotective?.” Austin replies, “I just don’t want you to get hurt, baby girl.” Daphne comes over and hugs Austin assuring, “dad, you don’t have to worry about me.” Austin kisses Daphne’s forehead and hugs her back saying, “I love you, baby girl.” Daphne says, “I love you too, dad.” She soon comes to Calvin’s place and sees the door open wondering, ‘why is his door open? Does he know I am coming...?.’ Daphne soon comes in and looks around before heading upstairs saying, “Calvin, your door was open so I-.” Calvin is in his boxers making out with a girl as Daphne’s eyes become mad thinking, ‘what the fuck!!.’ Daphne’s eyes soon turn to sadness wondering, ‘have you ever met a person who notices you, but you were not attracted but being with them, their talk, smile and every moment becomes beautiful, but then love doesn’t last forever.’
Daphne sees Calvin with his tongue down the woman thinking, ‘was I ever good for you? did I do anything that made him cheat on me? I must not cry and be weak... remember dad’s words.’ Daphne yells, “CALVIN!!!.” Calvin says, “Daphne! What are you doing here? you were meant to text me if you were coming around.” Daphne coldly says, “I’m meant to text you when I am coming over? The real question here is, what the fuck do you think you are doing?.” Sadie asks, “who is this bitch, Calvin? She literally disturbed us.” Daphne says, “this bitch over here is his girlfriend! the same girl whom he has been with for nearly a year.” Calvin rolls his eyes saying, “just leave, Daphne. We are busy over here and you came at the wrong time.” Daphne says, “of course I will leave right after I break up and dump you!.” Calvin says, “don’t you dare think about breaking up with me, Daphne! You’ll regret it!.” Daphne says, “too late, asshole! Because we are done and over for good and I am not regretting this!.” Calvin angrily says, “you bitch! You will come running back to me, anyway.” Daphne asks, “will I run back to you? it’s normally the person who cheats that wants to come back together, now my work is done, I’ll be leaving.” Calvin thinks angrily, ‘you will regret this, Daphne Blake.’ Soon at home in her room Daphne sat on her bed wondering, ‘I never asked for much... all I ever wanted is someone to love me, seeing the person I love cheat on me... the love slowly fades.’ Daphne open her drawer and takes her handkerchief to wipe her tears just as Lauren comes in. Lauren says, “hey sis! Oh my god, have you been crying? Who do I need to kick ass?.” Daphne wipes her tears and turns to Lauren replying, “hey Lauren, why are you so dressed up?.” Lauren says, “don’t even try to change the topic, Daphne, tell me what happened.” Daphne sighs before saying, “ok, it was Calvin I went over to his place and he-.” Lauren says, “he cheated on you, right?.” Daphne asked stunned, “wait, how do you know?.” Lauren replies, “that asshole looked like a cheat when I first saw him. he doesn’t deserve your tears, Daphne and remember dad’s words... crying makes you look weak so hide your emotions instead, you know what you need a distraction.. let’s hit the club tonight!.” Daphne sighs saying, “dad will kill us, Lauren.” Lauren says, “it’s cool, I always come up with something great.” Lauren brings Daphne to her closet and hands her a few choices of outfit saying, “get ready sis for the party!.” Daphne has a shower and freshens up before trying Lauren’s choices; she eventually chooses a black lace jumpsuit and looks in the mirror smiling thinking, ‘Lauren really does have a good fashion sense in clothes.’ Daphne does her hair and makeup before coming to meet Lauren downstairs.
Chapter 4
Jace says, “I’m pretty sure that you are not supposed to be out here.” Lauren asks, “does it look like I care, Jace?.” Daphne says, “maybe we should go back inside, Jace will tell dad.” Lauren says, “and miss out all the fun!! no way!.” Jace says, “go upstairs or I will tell dad.” Lauren says, “excuse me, are you my father? No.” Jace says, “well I did warn you.” He screams, “DAD!!.” Lauren punches Jace who falls to the ground as she turns to Daphne saying, “let’s go, sis!.” Daphne sighs thinking, ‘damn, she seriously knocked Jason out!.’ They head to the club ‘Neon Lights’ as they come inside everyone is dancing; Daphne asks, “so, what shall we do now?.” Lauren replies, “I’m presuming that you have never been to a club before, sis; we can dance, drink, party or even hook up with people.” Daphne rolls her eyes saying, “let’s go and get some drinks first.” Lauren says, “yeah, I’m in the mood for some cherry soda.” They head over to the bar as the bartender asks, “can I get you ladies anything?.”
Lauren replies, “two cherry soda please.” The bartender gives them each a can as they both open and drink it. Lauren says, “I still can’t believe you have never been to a club before.” Daphne says, “I know right.” Two boy across look at Daphne and Lauren. Diego says, “hello, babes.” Lauren turns asking, “can I help you?.” Axel says, “you can help us in many different ways, babes.” Diego says, “spicy, I love it! we can take you both to a private room.” Axel says, “and we can get spicy and make your fantasies go wild, babes.” Daphne felt disgusted while Lauren came over saying, “you’re really sexy, I bet you are like one of those bad boys who knows what they want.” Diego says, “you’re right, babes.” He wraps his arm around her waist asking, “what’s your name, baby?.” Lauren replies, “Lauren Blake.” Axel thinks, ‘Blake? Isn’t that the Mafia’s leader’s daughter?.” Lauren asks, “can you let go of me now so that I can dance?.” Diego replies, “I can’t let you, baby; you’re so damn hot!.” Lauren says, “I did warn you, dickhead!.” She kicks him in the cock and punches him as Axel runs away; Lauren turns around saying, “come on sis, let’s hit the dance floor.” In a private VIP corner Mario asks, “Liam, did you find anyone that you can have fun with?.” Liam replies, “not yet.” Mario says, “these chicks have been trying to catch your eye.” Liam says, “go and dance with one of them, Mario.” Mario says, “nah, I would rather watch these beauties.” Liam looks around until something caught his eye; he saw Daphne dancing and thought, ‘damn she is really something! she’s gorgeous, I want her, she must be mine... god I sound like a hungry lion... I want to consume her.’ Liam says, “she’s sexy.” Mario asks, “did someone finally catch your eye and attention?.” Liam nods replying, “the one in that sexy lace jumpsuit, she’s the perfect kind of trouble, a girl who knows exactly when to be bad.” Mario says, “go and get her, Liam.” Liam winks saying, “of course I will.” He gets up and heads to the dance floor as he holds Daphne’s waist and sways with her to the music. Daphne was so lost in the rhythm of the music that she soon felt someone body press against hers. Liam says, “hello, butterfly.” Daphne thinks, ‘that voice... it’s him.’ Daphne stops dancing and turns around as she thinks, ‘he’s the sexiest man I’ve ever seen.’ Liam and Daphne eyes locked with each other as they stared at each other for a few minutes; Daphne wonders, ‘the feeling he is giving me, I have never felt it with Calvin.’ Liam asks, “what’s wrong?.” Daphne replies, “nothing, can you just maybe go back to your side chicks? Why are you still standing beside me?.” Liam smiles replying, “perhaps it’s because you caught my eye and attention. I’m Liam by the way.” Daphne says, “cool, now go.” Liam says, “come on, tell me why you are not interested in me?.” Daphne answers, “I’m sure other girls can turn you on, I don’t know what you find gorgeous about me.” Liam wonders, ‘does she not know how beautiful she is?.’ Liam says, “butterfly, you’re the most desirable girl in this club.. I like you.” Daphne feels a strange feeling inside of her as Liam asks, “do you want to head back to my place, butterfly?.” Daphne thinks, ‘I do need a distraction, what could go wrong? it will help take Calvin off my mind.’ Daphne says, “alright but I can’t leave my sister here alone.” Liam spots a girl dancing as he says, “isn’t that your sister over there?.” Daphne turns seeing Lauren dancing with someone asking, “who the hell is she dancing with?.” Liam replies, “that’s my best friend, Mario, he will take care of her.” Daphne says, “he’d better!.”
