Because we have so few Americans today who understand the military, I think it is imperative for those of us who do to point out a truth that is anything but official, i. e., the president that says we have turned a corner in Afghanisnam. What "corner" is he talking about. I am a former military type who sometimes feels the need to translate the double speak of the military. Musings have to do with family, religion, sickness.
