Across the universe in a strange galaxy with no way home, Will, Rayne, and Francine find a trading planet where they can buy the supplies they need to conduct badly needed repairs to the homemade spaceship. As great as that is, they find something even more useful: rumors of an eccentric galactic tycoon who tried, and nearly succeeded, in building a gigantic vessel capable of traveling to other galaxies and exploring the greater universe. Will and the crew simply need to find the derelict ship in order to understand what technology it had to make such a trip possible and how they can use it to get home. Unfortunately, the eccentric and benevolent genius is long gone, and the unfinished mega-ship is now home to an entirely different sort of people. If Will and company want to get the plans for the ship and its precious engine, they will be forced to take on an entire army to do it.
